All estimates are totally free….after
you leave your bike with us for repair, we’ll call you if the bill
will run 10% more than our quote. Our prices are about HALF what most
other shops charge. Why do we do this? We’re strongly committed
to the idea that bikes can be a VIABLE choice for transportation, as well
as for fitness and recreation! How can we do this? It’s getting
harder, but, we like to believe in the golden rule... not “he who
has the gold, rules!"
HokieSpokes is fairly unique in the realm of cycle shops because we
will rent (for $5/hr., $20/day, etc.) most any bike in our shop (yes,
even the "brand spankin’" new ones) and ALL rental payments
apply in full towards any future purchase.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
We will adjust bearings, true wheels, and adjust brakes and gears on
bikes we have sold for free, forever, unless problems are the result
of abuse or neglect. We will explain this policy to customers as often
as possible, and will endeavor to teach customers how to check and maintain
their merchandise. Repair and service to other bicycles will be billed,
unless it is a follow-up to a repair.
EXCHANGES & RETURNS
We are always happy to exchange items. Our store policy for returned
merchandise is SUBJECT TO A 10% RESTOCKING FEE. Should a product not
fulfill its promised function, or if it is defective, the sale will
be voided and MONIES REFUNDED IN FULL. The form of refund will be the
SAME as that of the original sale. Refunds for check payments may be
delayed at the owner's discretion. WE WILL PROVIDE NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES
AFTER 30 DAYS.
